Founded by Nathan Hester after the passing of his father, Rick Hester, the company continues a family legacy that began in Oconee County in 1982.

Today, our team continues that legacy through thoughtful outdoor solutions, technical expertise, and a commitment to long-term property care.

Nathan grew up in Oconee County working alongside his father, Rick Hester, learning the landscape installation trade and values that still shape Hester Outdoor Services today: faith, family, honesty, craftsmanship, accountability, and strong customer relationships.

With a background in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nathan combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving to help bring outdoor projects to life. He enjoys practical solutions, creating functional outdoor spaces, and helping clients make the most of their properties.
